Samuel M. Smith died this morning at the residence of his brother, Charles Smith, at 917 West Wabash Avenue. The funeral will occur tomorrow at 2 p.m. with interment at Oak Hill.
The deceased was born in Russellville, May 20, 1852, and has lived in this community all his life. He leaves a wide circle of friends. He was a son of Samuel D. Smith, the tailor, and a brother of Mrs. Sam Robinson.
